Meet Candy...5 years old and sweet, just like her name! She was rescued as a stray in Texas... skin and bones when she first came in. We dont know much about her past, but what we do know is that it probably wasn't that great as she is scared of most everything.  She has been in a foster home for a few weeks now and is making progress. She is learning to trust, how to have fun and building confidence. She currently lives with 6 other dogs and gets along wonderfully with all of them.  She quickly became attached to and adores her foster mom. She follows her around and loves to sit next to her on the couch for pets and sleeps quietly at her feet every night. She desperately wants a connection and is longing for a person to call her own.  Could you be that angel that can take her on the rest of her healing journey to recover from her past? She will be an extremely loyal and loving companion.
