Hakuna Matata! My name is Timon and I am a Maltese that came from a puppy mill situation. I was tested for heartworm and came up positive but I am undergoing treatment - basically I am on restricted activity for the next 6 weeks but once I get past that, as long as I am given my heartworm pill every month, I should be good to go!
