6/10/12: My foster Mommy reports that I am a real joy!  They love me!  Woof!  It took me some time to figure out my new surroundings but once I did, I got around just fine.  I get along well with other dogs and I am a super couch buddy!  (Sort of like a couch potato but waaay cuter! Woof!)  I absolutely LOoOVE sitting on my human's lap or sitting next to them and getting lots of petting! I will be with the Rescue Squad in Long Island starting June 17th so they will be sure to update my bio again real soon!

I was sooo very matted when a Rescue Squad friend took me in.  They cut off the huge ones which gave me so much relief!  I really needed a bath and obviously still need some work but my new foster Mommy is helping me out as much as she can until I can see the Rescue Squad dogter.  I am just so glad to be safe, clean, fed and groomed!  My vision seems to be pretty bad but don't let that fool you!  I am like most small dogs and I get upset if I don't know where my foster Mommy is!  The Rescue Squad is transporting me from Delaware to Long Island on June 16th - then taking me straight to the Dogtor for vetting and to check my eyes.  I am also in the process of gaining some weight... I should probably be about 1-2lbs more than I am right now.  I am really sweet and like to be held.  I will need a furever home who can give me a lot of attention and build up my trust until I can at least get to know my surroundings!  Fill out an adoption application at www.yorkie911rescue.com if you think we would be the perfect match!
