6/12/12: I was groomed a few days ago & now I feel super good! No more dangling and painful mats! I am developing real nice in foster care but need a furever home to call my own. I am a larger pup... 17lbs of pure love. Please adopt me and I promise to be the best pup ever! Woof Woof! I am a nice bubbly little pup! I went to the dogter on Saturday and they looked me over then gave me a flea pill (just to be extra sure I didn't have fleas). I do need a bath pretty bad but my foster Mommy says I can not have one until 1 week after surgery. Plus I have a lot of mats so she has been trying to brush them out but there are too many. She told me she won't put water on them as that will tighten the mats more and then I will be in more pain. She thinks I will need to be shaved down and will start from scratch with growing out my potentially gorgeous hair! My foster Mommy thinks that nobody has ever brushed me because it's really hard to keep me still. I do not come when called and I am still learning my name. I have no training but that is all going to change while in foster care. I am on a schedule now and learning the rules of the house.
