Update 5/20/13: My foster Mom says that I am a ball of fire! I have the energy of a toddler! I love to play, walk, run, and am determined to get the squeakers out of all my toys! I am a lot of fun and enjoy my humans but that doesn't mean that I don't know how to relax because I do! I like to sit on my foster Mom's lap and calm down to sleep! I am doing well with wee wee pad training and I know that I must relieve myself outside too. I am currently displaying a love/hate relationship with big dogs because well, I think I am their size. Please consider putting in an application for a young, spunky, fun pup like me!
Update 4/16/13: I am doing well in rescue but I definitely prefer to be a leader and I won that title in my foster home even though they have another dog. The day I arrived at my foster Mom's house, I was very stressed out and scared between the event I had been at, my foster fur-sibling's barking and the new environment. As the day progressed, I became more comfortable with my new surroundings and took a nap. This helped to calm me down a lot. I don't mind wearing clothes and actually stopped shivering when my foster Mom let me borrow one of my foster fur-sibling's coats. I not only wore it outside but I wore it inside too! It kept me feeling safe and warm. I love attention. I run very fast and love to grab a ball but I won't bring it back. Instead, I prefer to chew it to death. BOL! I treat all toys like that; chew and shake it as hard as I can! I love to play and my foster Mom says I am a riot. When I'm not being a young playful pup, I am very calm and do not bark or cry. I also do not beg or jump up and down. Now that I have established myself as the pack leader, I won't even respond to my foster fur-siblings barks. I love to sleep on my foster Mom's lap. When I'm not sleeping on a warm lap, I like to sleep on my dog bed... which on occasion, I will flip and sleep on the reverse side. Update 3/27/13: The dogter confirmed that I am a hybrid - Hairless Chinese Crested/Yorkie mix! The dogter also said that I am just a young pup, maybe even less than 2 years old. If you're looking for a great boy that you can dress up- then I am your pup! Hurry & put your application in for me because I won't be in rescue long! Woof!
Woof Woof! My name is Sir Lancelot and I am named after one of the Knights of the Round Table in the Arthurian Legend. I was the most trusted of King Arthur's knights and played a part in many of Arthur's victories. Now it's my turn to find a furever family I can trust and victory will be mine once again! My foster mom thinks that I am a Chinese Crested Hairless/Yorkie Hybrid but we will confirm with the vet when I go in to be neutered this week.
