Update 7/5/13: My foster Mom says that I am a really nice dog. I am good both in the house & outside. I am responsive to her commands and love to go outside for a stroll & tinkle! I also seem to know of wee wee pads. My appetite is fine and I enjoy having apples for a snack. I haven't really shown much interest for anything else thus far. I also like to eat veggies with a little bit of chicken in my dry food. My foster Mom takes me for daily walks on the beach... talk about a ruff life, huh?! I am okay when I encounter other breeds on the beach but I do not appear to be interested in toys or playing fetch. I feel it is paramount to get my foster Mom's attention. I get a bit antsy when she leaves to go out. I am afraid of being left alone... so instead I am always eager and ready to go out and accompany my favorite humans! Speaking of, I really love to be on your lap and drive in the car. I just want to be held and up in your arms like a baby. I can jump quite successfully on couches, off the bed and today I surprised my foster Mom by jumping from the ground into the back seat of car. I like to sleep in my foster Mom's bed and I recently discovered the dog bed... and the couch... and well, I really enjoy taking naps on all of them! My foster Mom did notice that I seem to be wheezing and at times concerned that I am regurgitating or trying to catch my breath but, I do not. There is no cough. This happens daily so I need to find out with the dogter what this is all about. I am taking meds but I give my foster Mom a really hard time by clenching my teeth super tight. Then I run away and hide. My foster Mom also said that I am vocal towards any male (of any age, color, size) that I encounter. I bark at my foster Dad whenever he comes home but I get along quite well with females & the female pup in the house. We like to keep a respectful distance.
