Update 5/30/15: Sierra had surgery this week and we were very happy to hear that she should make a full recovery with no more leaking (or at least 95% less)! It will be a couple of weeks of recovery and then she will be ready to go to her fur-ever home. This is one of the sweetest, most loving pups we have ever had in rescue. She will make an amazing addition to any home - young, old, quiet or busy. Please consider adopting Sierra - she is READY!!!
Update 4/23/15: Sierra has been examined by a specialist at The Animal Medical Center in Manhattan. She will be going for a test and hopefully followed by surgery at the end of May to correct her bladder problem. We are praying for a full recovery for her so that she can be adopted into a wonderful home. Stay tuned for her results.
Update January 2015: Sierra has a "leaking" issue - she is going to see a specialist to determine whether surgery can correct it. We are very hopeful that she will be ok. More info to come...
Happy Holiday to me!!! Yorkie911 took me out of the shelter on Christmas Eve - I am one of the lucky ones. I hope my buddies at the shelter are as lucky as me. Hoping I find my furever home asap - would be a great way to start the new year! My foster mom thinks I am only around 7 years old because I play like a puppy - jumping, throwing toys around. I love running around the yard too. Please submit an application for me especially if you have a lot of toys for me to play with. I love throwing them up in the air and playing tug-of-war!
