Rainbow Bridge
We rescued Beauty 8 years ago and she quickly became part of our family. We will always remember you, may you Rest In Peace Beauty. (Miss Beverly Hills) 
Heaven gained another angel as my beloved Cody passed away this morning. Cody was the poster child for why every dog deserves a second chance; turned into the shelter at age 11 from an abusive owner, he went from being a fear biter to the most loyal companion who would smother you with kisses and the fiercest protector of his siblings. I thank Heidi Walker for pulling him from the shelter and giving him that chance. Cody spent 18 years on this earth, the last seven with me, but it would never have been enough. From Cody and my other dogs I have learned some of life's greatest lessons; time is precious and life is too short to be anything but happy. I will love you always Codeman and thank God for every day I had with you. 
We will miss you both! Mickey & Minnie were dumped at a shelter at the age of 15. We took them into rescue knowing they would probably not be adopted. We gave them love and a warm bed always hopeful that someone would give them a wonderful home. Sadly, we lost Minnie a couple of months ago - she passed in her sleep. This week, Mickey joined her over the bridge. We hope they are happy and running together again on the other side. Will see you both again one day. 
My name is Connie Cruse. I adopted Rizzo about 4 1/2 years ago. I had to let her go. She was a very happy little girl for many years. But a few months ago she got very sick. I loved her from the day I met her. I feel like I lost my best friend. I know in my heart I did the right thing for her. But my heart is broken. Adopting Rizzo was the best thing I every did in my life. I am thankful I had those years with her. 
King came in with a host of issues but despite them all, he was adopted and loved by Anthony and Alexis. RIP Sweet boy - you are missed by so many. |
