Rainbow Bridge
![]() This was our baby Rocky (our "Rock-Star" ). the day we brought him to our fur-ever home (March 28, 2014). We rescued him from one of the most loving and amazing person I know, Heidi at Yorkie 911 Rescue. Unfortunately, Rocky passed away July 18, 2016 (a month ago today). ![]() Rest in Peace, Boots!! 12.05.01 - 08.18.16 Boots was one our best canine friends ever. For more than 14 years, we walked and ran together, played, and cuddled. He was the softest, nicest pup. To know him was to love him. Boots has gone to join his brother Chewie over the bridge. He will be deeply missed by Stephanie, Stephen, Ruth and his fur siblings. ![]() Zena lived a good life. She was 16. Sending love and light to her mom, Roseann. ![]() June 28, 2015 this sweet girl came into rescue with giant hernias and was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. Knowing that her time was limited, she became a forever foster and quickly won our hearts. We loved Twinkle for her fighting spirit, funny bark and even her terrible gas. Sadly, the last few days she stopped eating and her body was filling up with fluids. She passed yesterday and is now on the other side romping through the grass with so many others that have left us. We'll see you on the other side. RIP Twinkle ![]() May 20, 2016 - We lost our furry family member, Porkchop yesterday. Sadly, he had a stroke. The wonderful doctors and staff at the Family Pet Clinic helped Porkchop feel comfortable, as well as my daughter and myself. Although we only had the pleasure of having Porkchop as part of our family for two years, it was the best two years of our lives, and I know it was for our boy, too. Many of our friends thought we were making a mistake adopting a senior dog. It is always heartbreaking to lose a pet, no matter what age they are or circumstance. Every animal, young and old, deserves a warm, loving home. I am so happy and grateful that you, Yorkie 911 Rescue, afforded us the wonderful opportunity to do just that. Stefani Schaefer |
